The Parmesan/Nooch Shaker

Did you know that the top to a standard jar of grated Parmesan cheese will fit onto a narrow mouthed canning jar?  I learned it from Matt's brother.

We use an old Parmesan container for our nooch shaker.  Now it is all the more charming--though it also made me think perhaps I should look into some sort of metal top to my shaker since the one for the Parmesan wasn't probably designed for perpetual use.   But, it does the trick.
