Special Occasion-Worthy:  These dishes are a little more hands-on, time consuming, or decadent.  As a result we mostly reserve them for special occasions or as a well-deserved indulgence.

Seasonal Treats:  There are plenty of foods we only eat during a set growing season.  For example, we never buy eggplant at the store and just enjoy it when fresh from the garden.  Or when it is citrus season we gobble up the oranges, etc. These are recipes that we use a lot during the respective seasons but shelve again until next year.
