Celebrate the Freaks
Every sunrise is different.
Every person is different.
Every cat is different.
Every mountain stream is different.
Every blade of grass is different.
Every pepper is different.
Some are more different than others, but they are each truly unique. It can be all too easy to think all blue jays or strawberries or oak leaves or New Yorkers are the same, but they're not. Not really. Similar, yes. But, oh, our diversity enriches us.
We're all freaks, in our own little ways, and I like to admire and celebrate the freaks. It would be so dull and unremarkable otherwise.
