Gratitude Challenge: Days 15-21

I am grateful for those shows where the musical magic is high--the turnout is better than expected, the band is even better than I remembered, and the audience is attentive.
Brother Comatose filled up the place on a TUESDAY.  AJ Lee & the Blue Summit opened for them.  Both bands were great.  From the opening act to the acoustic encore, the crowd truly listened to the music (instead of jawing) and it was delightful.  11/12/2024
I am grateful for the fall weather and the beginning of the S-Season (sweaters, soup, Scrabble, snuggling, streaming, shuffleboard, etc).
The trees are mostly bare now.  These leaves were in a puddle on the main walkway through campus.  I thought it was lovely.  11/12/2024
I am grateful that we knew and loved Johnny.
When we adopted Johnny she immediately (and I mean immediately) claimed Matt as her main squeeze.  Oh, how she worshiped that guy!  She was only the second cat Matt ever lived with and, in conjunction with Ginger, did an outstanding job winning him over to the world of cats.  She was so goofy.  A total goon, a total sweetheart.  Golly, she was a fun roommate.  We miss her.  We still talk about her.  She lived with us for seven and a half years. I'm grateful for every single day of it.  3/3/2019
I am grateful it is so easy for me to enjoy delicious vegan food in 2024.
This is our yummy, easy Biscuit Bake for breakfast--leftover biscuits topped with peppers, onions, mushroom, beans, gravy, and cheese.  I will also add gratitude that when my dad was visiting we went to IHOP and they have veg sausage and avocado toast on the menu.  It is a good time to be alive.  11/10/2014
I am grateful for the dishwasher.
Between the nachos and the cake, I think we used every single plate in the house at Casey's birthday party.  I loved it.  11/2/2024
I am grateful for my solid circles(s) of friends--new and old, near and far.
A group of us gals went up to Three Forks to surprise Hannah at her painting party.  Hannah's dad recently died and Jill and Chelsey knew she could use a boost.  What better boost than some hugs and love direct from the source!?!?  We had a lovely evening of sisterhood together.  Photo credit to Hannah's friend, Mickie.  11/19/2024
I am grateful for sunsets, falling leaves, colorful birds, shooting stars, snowcapped mountains, fluffy clouds, waterfalls, and all the glorious moments in nature that soothe my soul.
