Gratitude Challenge: Days 7-14 (The Matt Edition)
I am grateful for how frequently and vigorously Matt makes me laugh--on the good days and the bad days.
Matt was a willing subject as I played around with one of the community kaleidoscopes at Hillberry. He makes me laugh every single day. 10/7/2024 |
I am grateful for Matt's humbling work ethic and drive--in the garden, at his job, on his hobbies, around the house, with our finances and goals, at being a husband and friend--in every facet of his being.
I am grateful that Matt is my biggest supporter in, well, basically everything I do--from sewing to community organizing.
I am grateful that Matt is an excellent cook who continues to pass his culinary skills and passion along to me.
I am grateful that Matt gets along well with his family and enjoys spending time with them, carrying on their traditions, sharing old memories, and making new ones.

I am grateful that Matt has a sensitive, thoughtful, joyful heart and a rock-solid moral compass.
Matt rubbing Val's cat, Halle Berry, on her big, beautiful belly. All animals love him. They can tell he is good people. 10/7/2024 |
I am grateful that Matt and I get to pedal to/from work together a few times a week (now that Matt's become a cycle commuter again).
The sunrise was especially glorious this day. It is almost as bright and colorful as Matt's neon Please-Don't-Run-Me-Over-Vest! 11/12/24 |
I am grateful for Matt's joyful spirit and how much fun and satisfaction we find being together--whatever we might be doing!
