Life is interconnected and so are the topics on this blog. It might be cooking and gardening one day, yoga the next, knitting and sewing, or hiking and then bird watching followed by recycling or composting. They are the parts that bring humble joy to my life of voluntary simplicity in Montana.

Homemade Flour Tortillas
I think that everything is better somehow when it is homemade. I literally do not think I can come up with one example that defies this rule. I think that cooking from scratch is radical....in just about every definition of the word.

Yum! So.. are you going to share the recipe or directions? I tried to make flour tortillas once and ended up with these puffy bread things that looked more like something from an Indian restaurant than tortillas. (What's that bread called.. dal?)
ReplyDeleteMatt made them and I only watched so I will have to pump him for the details to post.
ReplyDeleteI think the bread you refer to is naan.
Both are tasty, but when you are aiming for tortillas I suppose naan would be a disappointment!
Naan. That's it. It is tasty, but it just doesn't work when you're aiming for tortillas.
DeleteYum! That makes me hungry, and I dont eat tortillas. Your Matt is such a good sport!
ReplyDeleteOh, he really, really is. I can't believe how lucky I am sometimes.
DeleteWhy no tortillas?
