Hikes

I love getting out on the trail.  The sweet smell of the pines, the joyous birdsong, the calming rush of mountain streams or lapping lakes...solitude, beauty, soul...the wildness, the freedom, the empowerment, the fun.  The glory.  As such, I've written up a number of hike and trail descriptions and directions over the years.  They're not a substitute for a map or guidebook, but I hope they provide a better feel for the area if people are trying to learn more about a hike under consideration.
