10 - Number of years I've known Matt.
13 - Number of apartments/houses I've lived in over my lifetime.
17 - Number of U.S. states I've visited, including my home state.
31 - My age.
66 - My height in inches.
97 - My typical body temperature in degrees F.
161 - Average number of books I read annually.
269 - My average Scrabble score when playing against Matt.
272 - Miles between my hometown of birth and my hometown of choice.
354 - Number of tight spiral stairs I climbed to look out of Lady Liberty's crown.
645 - Number of books I've read (or had read to me) since 2011.
1,000 - Number of posts I've share on this blog, including this one.
I figured that last number was worth noting--with a facts and figures type post, of course.  I do love personal statistics.  Its amazing to me that its possible I've crafted 1,000 posts here though.  I am a bit of a chatterbox.  I am very enthusiastic about my simple life.  I love to share my photographs.  Still, I find it remarkable that five years of life has been chronicled here in these thousand posts--family and friends loved and lost, fantastic homegrown meals nurtured and consumed, skills acquired, nature's marvels explored and gloried in, a marriage made official, a home getting settled...a life lived and cherished!  What will the next thousand bring, I wonder...
While I generally try to write for myself, as if no one is reading, I would be remiss were I not to offer a heartfelt thanks to all of you--from near and far, new friends and old--for taking the time to read my rambling thoughts.  It is quite the community that I've found through this blog--in my own town and across the globe.  It has been a very meaningful, valuable experience for me.  It is something which I didn't exactly expect when I started, but for which I am very grateful.
All photos from SpringFest at the Moss Mansion on June 6th.  The bees were loving those spring flowers.
