Go Into the Arts; Sing in the Shower - Inspiration Thursday

Spiral Skies belly dancing troupe brightening up our day at the 2013 Montana Renaissance Festival.
"Go into the arts.  I'm not kidding.  The arts are not a way to make a living.  They are a very human way of making life more bearable.  Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake.  Sing in the shower.  Dance to the radio.  Tell stories.  Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem.  Do it as well as you possibly can.  You will get an enormous reward.  You will have created something."
         - Kurt Vonnegut
A colored pencil drawing I call  "Terrapin Sun."  The words read "I don't know if its the end or the beginning,."
Kurt Vonnegut is my all-time favorite author.  And a genius.  And a bit of a prophet.  With a healthy dose of satire that can make me chuckle when I feel like crying.
Satsang with special guest John Adam Smith at the Railyard last month.
