And I'm Going To Do It Again Tomorrow!
We had a pretty stellar interaction with a cashier at our neighborhood grocery store recently.
Her: "And how are you folks doing today?"
Matt: "Pretty excellent. And you?"
Her: "Oh, I'm having a GREAT day today. I decided I would and so I did!"
Me: *laughs* "Glad to hear it!"
Her: *big smile* "And you know what? I'm going to do it again tomorrow!"
Matt: "That sounds like a plan. We'll try that, too."
I just loved her attitude. We walked away from the simple exchange with a smile on our face, talking about what a breath of fresh air she was!
Matt: "Pretty excellent. And you?"
Her: "Oh, I'm having a GREAT day today. I decided I would and so I did!"
Me: *laughs* "Glad to hear it!"
Her: *big smile* "And you know what? I'm going to do it again tomorrow!"
Matt: "That sounds like a plan. We'll try that, too."

DeleteWe had two nice girls at the supermarket, too: the cashier and the bagger. So nice (and rather unusual)
ReplyDeleteBut it is such a pleasure when you come away after such an interchange!
Heck yeah! (And most of the people who work for that particular grocery chain seem to borderline hate their jobs so it was a very, VERY nice interaction indeed!)
