Back Garden. 8/29/2021 |
Yesterday--March 6th--was the 10th anniversary of closing on
our house. Our 10th homeversary, if you will. In some ways I am astonished that it has been ten years already. In others, it feels like we've always been here.

I'm so glad it is ours. It is our home. Our sanctuary. Our workshop and art studio. Our place to thrive. It is a place of connection and growth. Of love and creativity. It nourishes us, literally and metaphorically, providing stable ground where we have planted our roots. I am so happy with what we've done here--and eager to see what will come in the next decade.

Matt and I celebrated the occasion by watching The Big Lebowski and drinking a White Russian after dinner last night. March 6th is also the anniversary of the Dude's debut in theaters back in the late 90s. I'm not much of a movie person, but we both sure love that one.
