Thankful

I am thankful that we gathered once again around a table heaped with bountiful food, prepared with love, eaten with laughter.  

I am thankful that, despite the pandemic that just won't quit, things feel safer this year than they did last year, what with our vaccines and all.

I am thankful for these moments.
