Hand-Me-Downs - NaPoWriMo

My socks are Jesscy's.
Silverware from Matt's mom graces the table.
That book came from Derek's shelves.
This fabric came from my mother.
The tiny pin cushion was Grandma Knaack's.
My red sweater was Jessica's...
And this green one once belonged to Jen's mom.
Lisa knapped those arrowheads.
The scent I wear originally danced on Chelsey's body.
The sea glass was collected by Carl.
This pendant was my sister Sarah's earring, at one time.
Our kitty-cat used to live with Michelle.
The curio cabinet has known generations on my step-mom's side.
The record player used to spin in my dad's basement.
My shoes were Genoa's.
That picture frame was given me by Hannah.
Megan painted that guitar.
The beaded doorway curtain hung at Bill's old place.
My lone pair of pants used to belong to Kris.
My grandpa brought this tea cup back after being stationed in Korea.
The dresser is the same one Matt has used his whole life.
The scarf around my head used to belly dance with Bek.
Our kitchen table came to us via my step-dad.
My favorite skirt was once Dallas'.

Perhaps I am a pack rat,
A scavenger,
An opportunist.

Or perhaps I've crafted a life
Populated with relics
Adorned with love.
