My mom gave us some pears she wasn't eating fast enough.
Matt had been wanting to make caramel sauce based on the recipe from
Modern Sauces by Martha Holmberg which we'd checked out from the library--slightly tweaked to eliminate the dairy elements.
It was amazing. Like Matt.
