The Simpson's Penny Checkers

Matt wanted to play checkers the other night when I suggested games.  But alas, for my three jam-packed shelves of games, we do NOT apparently own any checkers.  We DO have a (The Simpson's) chess board though.

So, we made our own pieces out of spare change.  I was quarters.  Matt was pennies.

It served the purpose well.  So well, in fact, that I don't see why I would ever buy a checker board and pieces. 

(We each won one game and called it a day)
