Growing Things...

Tomatoes.  We are happy with how they are growing.  Last year our seedlings were so puny that we ended up having to buy seedlings from a local nursery any way.  This year they are thick and strong and delightful.  So far.  I don't want to jinx myself.
Well, maybe not all of them are strong and tall.  For some reason the black crim are not taking off.  There is still time, but we might be "stuck" with regular ol' red tomatoes.  Matt is excited about the crims though so I hope they do work out.  I personally think they are the ugliest tomatoes I've ever seen.

Peas, spinach, arugula, and kale are all growing outside.  They are a couple inches tall already which makes us feel way ahead of the game since no one else we know even has anything in the ground yet.
But, there might be a reason that we are the only ones in Montana with things planted outside.  Our greens have been snowed on...

Twice, actually.  But, they are supposed to be cold tolerant and so far so good.
